alternative to sleep on materass
« on: January 06, 2017, 07:41:05 AM »
Hi all. I ve recently been in India for about 4 months and slept in a bed structure made of wood ( so basically like a wood bench) with two thick kinda blankets on top and it worked perfect!! No more tension in neck, shoulders and upper back!

I then came back in Australia and got a room with a materass way too poor and soft, therefore after the first night I decided to sleep on the floor with a thick blanket.
First few nights a bit uncomfortable honestly, but no damn pain or that bad sensation on my upperback and neck of feeling hunched foward, followed by a sense of poor orientation  when walking and feeling in general.

I ve purchased a 6mm materass topper, thinking it was much firmer but I was wrong. I placed it on the bed frame and all the sensations I explained above came back and I can t tolerate them!

Anybody has an alternative way  of sleeping, instead of a bed??

I have a futon frame with a piece of inch plywood on it, I put a thick blanket over it and sleep on that.

I swap between that and a regular mattress on the floor.
